The registry points registrants at nic.cc for registration services. That delegation record was last updated on 24 Mar 2026; if the registry has changed hands since, IANA is where it shows up first.

Despite .cc being the country code for the Cocos (Keeling) Islands, IANA records the manager there while the registry itself is operated by Verisign; neither publishes a residency requirement. Verisign runs the authoritative registry for .cc, alongside the other three it names, and sells nothing directly — every registration goes through an ICANN-accredited registrar.
